Shortly before 9:15 p.m. on March 17, officers from the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to a Gomer Street residence, where a local homeowner had requested police assistance.
According to Yorktown Police officials, while at the location, 53-year-old Todd Fullenweider also responded to the scene, “yelling profanities, threatening officers, refusing to back up and refusing to comply with any of the officer’s commands,” which interfered with the investigation into the incident, “preventing the officers from performing their official duties,” police said.
Fullenweider was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, a misdemeanor. Following arraignment, he was released on $500 bail. Fullenweider is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on April 19 to answer the charge.
